Looplift vs. Intelligems
Intelligems is the most-reviewed app in the category — 4.8★ across 161 reviews, Built for Shopify, live since December 2021 — and its range is wider than ours in the directions that matter commercially: prices, shipping rates, checkout and post-purchase, with profit per visitor reported on every test (App Store listing, 31 July 2026). Its Smart Content plan starts at $69/month and scales with order volume.
It is also the honest counter-argument to Looplift's whole pitch. That $69 plan already advertises 'know which content tests to run next' and 'use AI to make content edits quickly'. So the claim that software can answer 'what should I test?' is not ours alone, and we will not pretend otherwise. The difference we argue for is narrower and more specific: a recommendation, versus an audit that produces a hypothesis, a built variant and a recorded learning that ranks the next proposal.

When intelligems is the better choice
- You want to test prices, shipping thresholds, or anything inside checkout. This is Intelligems' home ground and Looplift will never compete there — those changes are out of our scope by design.
- Profit per visitor is the number your team argues about, and you want the test tool to report it natively.
- You want a Built for Shopify app with five years of merchant reviews behind it.
When Looplift is the better choice
- You want more than a suggestion: the hypothesis written out, the variant already built against your own page, and a record of what each concluded test taught.
- You want a tool that provably cannot write to your theme or leave code behind when you remove it.
- You want peeking-safe verdicts as the default rather than a dashboard you can stop whenever it looks good.
Intelligems is broader, more proven, and better wherever money is the variable being tested.
