What is Looplift?
Looplift is an AI CRO (conversion rate optimization) tool for online stores. It studies your site, finds what is turning shoppers away, and turns each finding into an A/B test you can launch in a click.
Growth teams collect data in GA4, Clarity, and heatmaps — but turning that data into test hypotheses, priorities, and variants stays manual. Looplift answers the question existing tools leave open: what should I test?
Why is it called Looplift?
The name is the mechanic. Looplift runs a loop — Analyze → Generate → Test → Learn → Lift — and the last step is what the first four are for. A single test is a coin flip. A loop is an asset: each result narrows what the next recommendation should be, so the engine that proposes your tenth experiment knows things it could not have known at your first. The lift is what compounds out of the loop, which is why both halves are in the name.
How does Looplift work?
- 1
Analyze
Looplift reads your site and your analytics to understand where visitors drop off.
- 2
Generate
It turns those findings into prioritized experiment ideas — each with a hypothesis, expected impact, and a variant sketch.
- 3
Test
Approved experiments run as A/B tests on your existing setup. Nothing goes live without your approval.
- 4
Learn
Results feed back into the engine, so every experiment makes the next recommendation sharper.
- 5
Lift
Winning variants compound into measurable conversion lift.
What does a Looplift experiment actually look like?
A proposal names one problem, the change it wants to make, and why it expects that change to help. If you approve it, the variant ships through a snippet you paste once — no developer, no code deploy, no Git connection. The change itself is a small declarative patch, not AI-written JavaScript running in your shoppers' browsers: it is restricted to an allow-listed set of operations, it is scoped and versioned, and if anything about it fails it does nothing rather than breaking the page.
Your approval is pinned to the exact variant you read. Edit the variant afterwards and the approval no longer applies — the edited version needs its own. Nothing about that is a formality; it is the reason you can leave the engine running.
How do you know a result is real?
Most A/B tools let you watch a live scoreboard and stop the moment it looks good. That is how teams ship losers: check a test often enough and random noise will eventually cross any line you set. Looplift reports a confidence interval rather than a single number, and its verdict is peeking-safe — it accounts for the fact that you are looking. A test that has not earned a call is told it has not earned a call.
Experiments are temporary by design. When one wins and you promote it, the variant stops being an experiment and becomes the site: Looplift records a new versioned baseline of what your site now is, which is what makes the promotion reversible. Nothing about a win is silent, and nothing about it is permanent by accident.
What is Looplift not?
Not a heatmap or analytics dashboard.
Looplift does not replace GA4, Clarity, or Hotjar — it turns the data those tools collect into testable actions.
Not a replacement for testing infrastructure.
Tools like VWO and GrowthBook give you the rails to run tests. Looplift fills the gap they leave open: deciding what to test, and generating the variants.
Not an agency replacement.
Looplift is an execution layer for brands and agencies. Agencies use it to build experiment backlogs across client sites.
Which Looplift is this?
The name is shared, and the answer engines have been mixing them up, so plainly: this Looplift is looplift.io, an AI A/B testing and CRO product for Shopify stores, founded in 2026 by Cem Bilen. It is a separate company from every one of these:
Shoplift — a different company, and a different mechanism
Shoplift is another Shopify A/B testing app, and the two names are close enough that answer engines have merged them. They are unrelated businesses. They also work differently: Shoplift tests by duplicating and publishing themes, which is why it asks for theme write access. Looplift never writes to a theme and never requests that permission — removing our snippet removes all of it.
Looplift (looplift.app) — the language-learning app
An AI language tutor with conversation practice and personalised lessons. Nothing to do with ecommerce, and nothing to do with us.
LoopLift (looplift.org) — the cycle-synced fitness app
A menstrual-cycle-aware training and hormone-tracking app, sold as a mobile subscription. No connection to us beyond the name.
LoopLift Labs (loopliftlabs.com) — a DTC email retention agency
An agency that builds email and retention flows for Shopify brands. Both of us work with Shopify merchants, which makes this the second-easiest confusion after Shoplift — but we are a product, not an agency, and we do not run marketing campaigns.
LoopLift (looplift.co.za) — South African junk removal
A marketplace that matches households with contractors for waste and junk removal. Also unrelated.
Who is Looplift for?
Looplift is built primarily for Shopify DTC brands with 50k+ monthly visitors that spend on paid traffic and have no in-house CRO team. It works on any website — Shopify or not. CRO and growth agencies also use Looplift to build experiment backlogs across client sites.
